James Cramer is a seasoned entrepreneur and product strategist with over a decade of experience in mobile games, digital communities, and audience-led innovation. He began his career at Supercell before leading roles at several Finnish studios, eventually founding two game companies, Skunkworks and Voxelpop, where he pioneered a research-first approach to development.

At Skunkworks, James led the team behind Merge Friends, one of the earliest and most successful titles in the Merge 2 category, generating over €1 million in its first six weeks. The studio later grew to 30+ people and raised more than €5.8 million before market conditions forced its closure.

James is now the founder of Get Lost, a platform designed to revolutionise book discovery by blending community, curation, and commerce. Often described as “Letterboxd for books,” Get Lost helps readers and creators connect more meaningfully through bespoke bookstores, accurate recommendations, and monetisation tools.

He also co-founded Signal:Noise, a consultancy that helps teams uncover hidden market opportunities and build products with first-mover advantage, applying many of the same methodologies that powered his gaming successes.

James writes regularly at jamescramer.substack.com and remains an active voice in conversations about digital product strategy, underserved audiences, and the future of cultural platforms.
